A Palestinian man was killed and two others were wounded early Friday as Israeli forces carried out a series of actions across the Gaza Strip that Palestinian officials described as new violations of the ceasefire agreement.
According to local sources, Abdullah Yassin was shot and killed by Israeli forces near the Wadi Gaza area in central Gaza.
Meanwhile, medical sources reported that two wounded Palestinians were transferred to Nasser Medical Complex after Israeli artillery shelling targeted Al-Bi’a Street north of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
Local sources said Israeli military activity intensified across several areas of the enclave overnight and into the early morning hours.
Israeli naval vessels opened fire off the coast of Khan Younis, while military vehicles and cranes stationed east of Khan Younis and Al-Qarara fired heavily toward surrounding areas.
In central Gaza, Israeli forces positioned north of Al-Bureij refugee camp reportedly opened intermittent fire.
Residents also reported low-flying surveillance drones over the Al-Rimal neighborhood west of Gaza City, while Israeli forces fired several smoke shells north of Beit Lahia.
The incidents come amid continued reports of Israeli ceasefire violations across Gaza since the truce took effect in October 2025.
Palestinian officials say civilians continue to be targeted in different parts of the territory, resulting in near-daily casualties.
Earlier this week, Gaza’s Government Media Office said it had documented 3,269 Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreements between October 2025 and mid-June 2026.
According to the office, the reported violations have resulted in the deaths of 992 Palestinians, injuries to 3,144 others, and the detention of 95 people.
