DayofPal— Israeli airstrikes killed at least 10 Palestinians, including two women and a child, and destroyed two homes across the Gaza Strip last 24 hours.
In the Gaza City, eight Palestinians were killed and 17 others injured when an Israeli drone struck tents sheltering displaced families in the Al-Rimal neighborhood.
Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians remain in temporary shelters after widespread destruction of residential areas during the war.
In a separate attack, a Palestinian man was killed and three others wounded when a quadcopter drone dropped an explosive device on a group of civilians in the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City. The victim was identified as 38-year-old Mehran Rizq Falfil.
Israeli forces also carried out artillery shelling and opened fire on several areas in eastern Gaza City and northern Gaza.
In southern and central Gaza, Israeli airstrikes destroyed two homes belonging to the Zaarab family in the Al-Attar area of Khan Younis and the Abu Ashaiba family in Al-Maghazi refugee camp.
Witnesses said the strikes leveled the houses and damaged nearby buildings, causing panic among residents and displaced families.
Earlier on Saturday, 25-year-old Mohannad Othman Firwana was killed and two others injured when an Israeli strike hit a tent on the roof of his family home in Khan Younis.
Medical sources said Firwana was killed just hours before his scheduled wedding.
Israeli army attacks, including artillery fire and naval shelling, continued in several parts of Khan Younis throughout the day.
According to Palestinian sources, nearly 73,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 173,000 injured in the Gaza Strip since the war began in October 2023, while much of the enclave’s civilian infrastructure has been destroyed.
