Seven Palestinians were killed and at least 15 others injured on Saturday after an Israeli strike targeted civilians west of Gaza City, amid continued violations of the fragile ceasefire agreement.
Local sources said Israeli forces bombed a gathering of civilians in western Gaza, causing multiple casualties and leaving several people critically wounded. Ambulances rushed the injured to nearby hospitals as rescue teams struggled to respond under ongoing bombardment.
Medical sources reported that the victims included women and children, while the number of casualties is expected to rise due to the severity of some injuries.
The latest attack comes as Israeli strikes continue across different parts of the Gaza Strip despite the ceasefire announced in October 2025.
According to Gaza health officials, hundreds of Palestinians have been killed and injured since the truce took effect, amid repeated Israeli attacks targeting residential areas and civilian gatherings.
Since the beginning of Israel’s war on Gaza in October 2023, more than 72,000 Palestinians have been killed and over 172,000 injured, the majority of them women and children, while thousands remain missing beneath the rubble.
