DaysofPal— Israeli occupation forces have continued to violate the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, intensifying air and artillery attacks across multiple areas, resulting in new casualties, according to local sources.
In the latest developments, four Palestinians were killed in a drone strike west of Gaza City, near Haidar roundabout.
Three others were injured in the same attack. The victims were identified as Iyad Al-Shanbari, his son Salah Iyad Al-Shanbari, Shaaban Ayesh, and Khaled Naim Abu Nahl.
In a separate incident, medical sources confirmed the death of nine-year-old Adel Lafi Al-Najjar, who succumbed to injuries sustained in an Israeli strike east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, Mona Al-Tayebin, 49, was reported to be in critical condition after being shot in the Egyptian Camp area in the northern part of Gaza.
Artillery shelling has continued to target eastern areas of Khan Younis, while eastern areas of Jabalia refugee camp in the north have also come under heavy bombardment, accompanied by intense gunfire.
In a related development in the occupied West Bank, a Palestinian man was killed and another injured by Israeli forces early Wednesday in the town of Silwad, east of Ramallah.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, citing the General Authority for Civil Affairs, 37-year-old Abdel Halim Rouhi Abdel Halim Hammad was shot dead during a military raid on the town, with his body reportedly withheld by Israeli forces.
The Gaza Ministry of Health reported that since the ceasefire began, at least 818 Palestinians have been killed and 2,301 injured. Additionally, 762 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble during this period.
The ministry added that the overall death toll since October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,594, with 172,404 injuries reported.
It noted that many victims remain trapped under debris or in inaccessible areas, as emergency and civil defense teams continue to face significant challenges reaching them.
The renewed Israeli bombing highlights the fragility of the ceasefire and raises concerns over a further deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip and beyond.
