DaysofPal — Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have killed 104 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip during the US-Israeli war on Iran, according to statistical data obtained by local Palestinian sources.
The figures cover the period from February 28 to the morning of April 8, during which regional attention was largely focused on the war on Iran.
Officials in Gaza said that the situation was exploited to intensify military crimes despite an existing ceasefire agreement.
Ismail Al-Thawabta, Director General of the Government Media Office in Gaza, stated that Israeli forces carried out 434 violations of the ceasefire over the 39 days.
He described the actions as part of a systematic policy aimed at undermining any efforts to maintain calm.
“These violations resulted in the killing of 104 Palestinians and the injury of 341 others, reflecting a continued pattern of direct targeting of civilians,” Al-Thawabta said.
He further highlighted the deteriorating humanitarian situation, noting that only 4,999 aid trucks were allowed to enter Gaza out of a planned 23,400, representing just 21% of the expected total.
According to the same data, movement restrictions remain severe. Only 625 travelers were permitted to leave Gaza out of 7,800 applicants, amounting to just 8%, which is a significant restriction on freedom of movement.
Al-Thawabta argued that these indicators demonstrate a failure to adhere to the terms of the ceasefire agreement, accusing Israeli occupation of using the truce as a cover to continue its operations.
He called for urgent international intervention to ensure compliance with the agreement, an immediate halt to violations, and the lifting of restrictions imposed on the Gaza Strip.
The figures and claims could not be independently verified at the time of publication.
