DaysofPal- Three Palestinian women—a journalist, a mother, and a child—were killed and ten others injured in Israeli artillery shelling late last night west of central Gaza, amid continued violations of the ceasefire.
Medical sources confirmed that two women and a 12-year-old girl were killed when Israeli forces shelled tents sheltering displaced families in Al-Sawarah, west of Al-Zawayda in central Gaza. The victims were identified as Nour Saleh Al-Shallalfa, 30; Salsabil Anwar Faraj, 12; and journalist Amal Mohammad Shamali, 46, a correspondent for Qatar Radio.
According to the same sources, ten other civilians were injured and transferred to Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat for treatment.
On Sunday, four Palestinians were also killed. Three died in an Israeli airstrike targeting civilians in Gaza City, while a young man succumbed to injuries he sustained after being shot by Israeli forces in Beit Lahia in northern Gaza.
Israeli forces have continued to violate the ceasefire since October 10 through air and artillery strikes as well as gunfire across different areas of the Gaza Strip.
According to the Government Media Office’s daily report on ceasefire violations, the total number of people killed in Israeli attacks has reached 648, including 200 children, 85 women, and 22 elderly people. Children, women, and the elderly account for more than 46 percent of the total victims.
The report also recorded 1,721 injuries, including 518 children, 343 women, and 90 elderly individuals—representing 55.7 percent of the most vulnerable groups, highlighting the growing impact of the military operations on civilians.
