DaysofPal-Israeli forces and settlers have carried out at least 440 violations in occupied Jerusalem since the beginning of 2026, according to a report released on Tuesday by the Palestine Information Center Mo’ati.
The report said the violations targeted Palestinian residents and religious sites across the city and involved a broad range of actions by Israeli occupation forces and settlers.
Documented incidents include 14 expulsion orders, 25 cases involving the desecration of holy sites, and 145 closures and movement restrictions imposed through the establishment of military checkpoints, the center said.
Israeli forces have also arrested or detained 44 Palestinians from Jerusalem since the start of the year. In addition, the report recorded 29 settlement-related measures and numerous attacks carried out by Israeli settlers.
As a result of these violations, at least 24 Palestinians were injured. The report further documented 14 shooting incidents attributed to Israeli forces and settlers.
Other violations included 42 arrest campaigns, 78 incursions into Palestinian neighborhoods, 23 demolitions and acts of destruction targeting Palestinian property, and 36 raids on Palestinian homes.
The findings come amid mounting warnings from Palestinian officials and human rights organizations of a worsening situation in occupied Jerusalem, particularly regarding settlement expansion, movement restrictions, and attacks on religious and civilian sites.
