Days Of Palestine – Jenin
The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped dozens of Palestinian citizens and brutalized many others during hysterical raids in Ya’bad town, west of Jenin, after one soldier suffered a fatal head injury in a stone-throwing incident there.
Local sources told a reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that Israeli soldiers searched dozens of homes in al-Salamah neighborhood of the town and rounded up at least 30 local residents, including fathers with their wives and children.
Clashes reportedly broke out in different neighborhoods of the town between local youths and Israeli soldiers. Dozens were injured by Israeli gunfire or suffered from their exposure to tear gas fumes during the events.
Eyewitnesses also reported seeing soldiers physically assaulting a number of local residents, including women and children, during arrests and on-site interrogations.
