DayofPal— At least eight Palestinians were killed and others injured on Thursday after Israeli airstrikes targeted two homes in Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza.
Four people were killed when an Israeli strike hit the Al-Houli family home west of Deir Al-Balah. They were identified Rania Naif Al-Houli, Islam Naif Mohammed Al-Saqa, and Qamar Raafat Abu Samra.
Hamas official Osama Hamdan also confirmed the assassination of Al-Qassam leader Mohammad Al-Houli in the strike.
Other two more bodies were recovered from the courtyard of a house belonging to the Al-Jarou family in the same area.
Additional casualties were reported following separate strikes earlier in the day.
The attacks come as Israel continues to violate the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on 10 October 2025.
Gaza Government Media Office reported that Israeli forces have committed systematic and serious breaches of the truce over the past 95 days, documenting 1,244 ceasefire violations.
The violations include direct gunfire on civilians, military incursions into residential areas, aerial bombardments, and the demolition of homes and civilian buildings.
These violations have resulted in at least 449 Palestinians killed, more than 1,200 injured, and dozens arbitrarily detained since the ceasefire began.
