DaysofPal- The Hamas Movement has warned international mediators that continued Israeli assassinations and military actions in the Gaza Strip are threatening to unravel the ceasefire agreement, Palestinian sources said on Friday.
According to the sources, the group has formally conveyed its strong objections to mediators overseeing the truce, accusing the Israeli occupation of carrying out targeted killings in Gaza under what Hamas described as false justifications.
The movement said such actions represent serious violations of the ceasefire and are pushing the agreement toward collapse.
In comments relayed to Al Jazeera, the sources said Hamas stressed that ongoing Israeli operations contradict both the spirit and the terms of the ceasefire, undermining efforts to preserve stability and prevent a return to wider fighting.
The warning comes amid heightened tensions following a series of Israeli strikes carried out despite the truce.
On Thursday, at least 14 Palestinians, including five children, were killed and several others wounded in attacks that began in the early hours of the day, according to Palestinian medical officials. The strikes reportedly hit tents housing displaced families, schools sheltering evacuees, and multiple sites across the Gaza Strip.
Health officials said dozens of people were injured in the attacks, some of them critically, as the overall death toll from Israeli fire since Thursday morning rose to 14 in different areas of the enclave.
Separately, Gaza’s Government Media Office said that Israeli occupation forces are committing the grave and systematic breaches of the ceasefire agreement since it came into force on October 10, 2025.
In a statement issued Friday, the office said the alleged violations also constitute breaches of international humanitarian law and the humanitarian provisions attached to the deal.
The statement said authorities documented 1,193 violations over a 90-day period, including hundreds of incidents involving live fire against civilians, military incursions into residential neighborhoods, shelling of homes, and the destruction of civilian buildings and institutions.
According to the media office, the violations resulted in the deaths of 484 Palestinians and injuries to 1,206 others, in addition to dozens of arrests described as unlawful.
Hamas said that unless the alleged violations cease and the terms of the agreement are fully respected, the future of the ceasefire remains in serious doubt, further endangering Gaza’s already fragile humanitarian situation.
