DaysofPal – A Palestinian man was injured in Nablus after being run over by an Israeli settler while walking along Amman Street on Friday morning
Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli settlers regularly storm the Joseph’s Tomb compound, located in Nablus in an area nominally under Palestinian Authority control, usually under the protection of Israeli forces, to perform religious rituals.
The site has been treated by Israelis as a Jewish religious shrine since the occupation of the West Bank in 1967.
Palestinian residents say they are subjected to near-daily harassment and attacks by settlers, including assaults on families and arson targeting homes and property.
In a separate incident, settlers installed a metal gate in Wadi Kafr Ni’ma, west of Ramallah, further restricting Palestinian movement in the area.
Moreover, settlers threw stones at Palestinian vehicles near the Kedumim junction, east of Qalqilya, and disrupted traffic at the Al-Maniya roundabout, south of Bethlehem.
Overnight, settlers reportedly stole a farm tractor from the village of Salhab in the Tubas governorate, causing direct financial losses to its owner and impacting his agricultural work.
Israeli settler attacks on Palestinians and their property have intensified across the occupied West Bank in recent days.
More than 1,100 Palestinians have been killed and around 11,000 wounded during this period, while over 21,000 have been arrested, according to Palestinian sources.
