DaysofPal- Israeli settlers intensified their attacks on Palestinian communities across the occupied West Bank on Friday, resulting in injuries, property destruction, and the establishment of new settlement outposts, according to rights groups and local sources.
In the South Hebron Hills, several Palestinians were injured on Friday morning after groups of settlers assaulted residents in Wadi al-Rahim near Khirbet Susya in Masafer Yatta, the Bayader human rights organization reported.
In Bethlehem, settlers launched an attack on the village of Kisan, east of the city, while Israeli forces accompanying them fired tear gas at residents, leading to multiple suffocation cases and widespread fear among the community.
Meanwhile, in Ramallah, settlers set fire to a bulldozer and agricultural equipment belonging to a resident in the village of Ramon, causing extensive damage. The destroyed machinery had been essential for cultivating surrounding agricultural lands, placing substantial financial strain on farmers who depend on it for their livelihoods.
In Nablus, settlers raided a nursery in the village of Deir Sharaf, vandalizing and destroying a large number of plants and equipment belonging to resident Nasser Nasser.
In occupied Jerusalem, settlers began establishing a new outpost near Khan al-Ahmar, approximately 300 meters from the Arab al-Kaabneh community and the Wadi al-Qilt road. According to the Bayader organization, settlers installed a mobile structure and fenced off surrounding land as part of a broader effort to seize more territory and restrict Palestinian access to farmland and grazing areas.
Late Thursday night, several Palestinians were also injured in a settler attack on Khirbet al-Majaz in Masafer Yatta, rights activist Sami al-Huraini said, noting that the assaults coincide with the presence of residents in their homes and form part of ongoing attempts to pressure and displace local communities.
Palestinian organizations have renewed calls for international intervention to protect civilians amid a surge in settler violence across the West Bank, which they say is taking place with the full support of the Israeli occupation forces.
