DaysofPal- Two Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire in separate incidents in the occupied West Bank over the past 24 hours, raising the death toll for the year to 230, according to Palestinian monitoring groups.
Early Monday morning, Ahmad Rubhi al-Atrash, a resident of Hebron, was shot in the head by an Israeli settler at the entrance to Ras al-Joura, north of the city.
Witnesses said the settler fired directly at al-Atrash, and Israeli forces prevented Palestinian medics from reaching him, leaving him to bleed until he died. His body was later seized by Israeli forces after his family was summoned to identify him.
In a separate incident on Sunday evening in Beit Furik, east of Nablus, Jamil Atef Hanani, 17, succumbed to critical chest wounds sustained from live gunfire during an Israeli military raid. Hanani was taken to Rafidia Governmental Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society confirmed that its teams were denied access to provide emergency care in both incidents.
According to the Shireen Observatory, the total number of Palestinians killed in the West Bank since the beginning of 2025 now stands at 230, including 42 children and six women.
These latest killings highlight an increase in settler and military violence across the West Bank, raising concerns about the safety of civilians amid ongoing Israeli military operations and settler attacks.
