DaysofPal- The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) continued their violation of the truce in Gaza as they continued conducting military operations in the Gaza Strip on Monday, launching airstrikes and drone attacks that resulted in civilian injuries and widespread destruction of residential buildings in eastern Khan Younis and Gaza City, in a series of actions that constitute ongoing violations of the declared ceasefire.
Local sources reported that several civilians were injured when an Israeli drone targeted a group of people in the town of Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
Simultaneously, Israeli warplanes conducted fresh air raids on the eastern outskirts of Khan Younis, coinciding with ground forces detonating explosives in residential areas along what is known locally as the “yellow line.”
Israeli military vehicles also opened fire in the same region, while drones dropped explosive devices around displacement camps near the Shuja’iyya junction east of Gaza City.
In addition to the airstrikes and drone attacks, Israeli troops carried out large-scale demolitions of homes in eastern Gaza City, further escalating the humanitarian crisis.
These incidents come amid repeated breaches of the ceasefire agreement that was supposed to take effect in Gaza on October 11.
Since the start of the ceasefire, at least 93 Palestinians have been killed and more than 324 injured, according to local reports.
The attacks form part of a broader pattern of Israeli military escalation in the Gaza Strip since October 2023, which has included thousands of airstrikes and systematic destruction of civilian infrastructure, leading to mass displacement and severe human suffering
