DaysofPal- The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a widespread operation early Monday, a series of arrests and raids across several West Bank cities, targeting numerous citizens, including former prisoners and minors.
The Israeli campaign affected cities such as Ramallah, Tulkarem, Nablus, Hebron, Bethlehem, and Salfit, and was accompanied by property damage and assaults on residents.
According to the Prisoners’ Information Office, Israeli forces arrested six citizens during incursions in the city of Al-Bireh and the village of Deir Abu Mash’al, west of Ramallah.
Among those detained were Hamas leader Jamal Al-Tawil, along with Mohammad Al-Tawil, Mohammad Ahmad Ammar, and Fadi Abdel Daim after raiding and vandalizing their homes.
During the arrest, Fadi Abdel Daim’s son, Mohieddin, was reportedly beaten by soldiers.
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Club stated that a special Israeli unit stormed the home of Jamal Al-Tawil, a
prominent Hamas figure in Ramallah, arresting him after attacking his family members.
Al-Tawil, a former prisoner who spent roughly 18 years in Israeli jails, was released in February following a prisoner exchange deal with resistance forces in Gaza. His release came after he suffered from poor health due to previous detentions.
In Deir Abu Mash’al, the forces also arrested young men Dhamir Taha and teenager Mohammad Majdi. Meanwhile, in the village of Ni’lin, west of Ramallah, several homes were raided, but no arrests were reported.
In Jericho, Israeli forces conducted a raid in Aqabat Jabr Camp, detaining seven young men, including former prisoner Badr Al-Muqaiti.
Additionally, in Nablus, two young men, Hani Hashash and Mu’tasim Abu Aisha, were arrested following a raid on their homes in Balata Camp.
The campaign further included the arrest of young men from Tulkarem, where Ahmad Abu Jamous was detained after his home in the southern suburb of Irtah was stormed. Another young man was arrested in the town of Janata, east of Bethlehem.
In Hebron, four citizens were arrested, and five others were detained during a raid in Salfit. These operations are part of ongoing daily raids and arrests carried out by Israeli forces across the West Bank, targeting activists, former prisoners, and political figures.
