DaysofPal-The Palestinian Islamic resistance movement of Hamas has firmly rejected claims made in a recent statement by the U.S. State Department, denying accusations that the Movement is preparing an “imminent attack” or violating the ongoing ceasefire agreement.
In an official press release, Hamas described the U.S. allegations as “false and baseless,” asserting that they “fully align with the Israeli misleading propaganda” and serve as a cover for the Israeli occupation’s ongoing crimes and organized aggression against the Palestinian people.
According to the statement, the facts on the ground indicate the opposite of Washington’s claims.
Hamas said that the Israeli forces are forming, arming, and funding criminal gangs responsible for killings, kidnappings, aid-truck thefts, and assaults on civilians in Gaza.
The movement said these acts have been publicly acknowledged through Israeli media and video evidence, which confirms the Israeli role in spreading chaos and undermining security in the enclave.
The group further emphasized that Gaza’s police forces, supported by community efforts, are working diligently to pursue and prosecute these gangs through established legal procedures in order to protect citizens and preserve both public and private property.
Hamas concluded by calling on the U.S. administration to “stop echoing the Israeli occupation’s deceptive narrative” and instead focus on pressuring the Israeli occupation to respect the ceasefire, cease its violations, and end its support for these armed groups operating under Israeli protection.
