DaysofPal- The Israeli occupation forces “IOF” committed a new massacre against civilians in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday evening, killing 15 Palestinians, including 6 children and a paramedic, and injuring more than 25 others in an airstrike targeting a home sheltering displaced families on Al-Mukhabarat Street in northwest Gaza City.
Local sources reported that Israeli warplanes directly struck the home of citizen Radwan Mushtaha, despite the presence of dozens of displaced individuals inside. Moments later, the area was bombed again, this time targeting an ambulance that had arrived to evacuate the wounded, resulting in additional casualties among rescue teams and civilians.
The targeted home is adjacent to a densely populated displacement camp containing over 100 tents housing families who fled from various conflict zones across the Gaza Strip.
This massacre is part of a broader pattern of atrocities committed by Israeli forces since October 7, 2023, which have claimed the lives of more than 59,000 Palestinians, the majority of whom are women and children, and left over 150,000 others injured. A suffocating blockade and the denial of humanitarian aid have exacerbated the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe.
Since March, the Israeli occupation has completely sealed off all border crossings, leading to a widespread famine and near-total collapse of the health system, amid continued international silence. Human rights organizations have warned that the ongoing attacks on civilians and displaced persons could constitute war crimes under international law.
Humanitarian groups are urgently calling for the immediate opening of crossings and the delivery of life-saving aid, emphasizing the critical need to halt the killing and prevent further escalation of the humanitarian crisis.
