DaysofPal – The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) have escalated their military campaign in the Gaza Strip, intensifying what human rights organizations are calling acts of genocide against civilians and entire families. The latest wave of attacks has deliberately targeted residential homes and displacement shelters across the region.
Dozens of Palestinian families have been completely wiped out, erased from civil records in strikes that blatantly violate international humanitarian law. Israel has employed the latest warplane technology and high-impact missile systems to carry out these attacks.
The use of powerful bombs, missiles, and fire belts has led to the destruction of entire residential blocks within seconds — often without warning — killing or injuring everyone inside. Human rights groups confirm that the deliberate targeting of women, children, and non-combatants indicates a systematic campaign of mass killing, executed under the guise of military operations.
Health Facilities Under Fire
Israeli forces have not spared hospitals. Medical centres across Gaza, including the Indonesian and Al-Awda Hospitals, have been repeatedly targeted with airstrikes, drone fire, and siege tactics, depriving patients of lifesaving treatment and forcing medical staff to operate under life-threatening conditions.
The siege on the Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza has rendered it non-functional, leaving the wounded without care and exacerbating an already dire health crisis.
A Deliberate Strategy
Ismail Al-Thawabta, Director General of the Government Media Office in Gaza, described the campaign as part of a broader scorched-earth strategy. Speaking to Safa News Agency, he said:
“This is a calculated project aimed at depopulating Gaza and forcing civilians into submission through ethnic cleansing and mass killing.”
Al-Thawabta highlighted that the attacks are carried out with the full knowledge of the international community, exploiting global silence, American complicity, and the steady stream of Western military support.
He stressed that these are not accidental strikes, but a deliberate military doctrine focused on psychological warfare — killing families to break Palestinian will and cohesion.
Mass Casualties and Widespread Trauma
In recent days alone, field data confirms that at least 83 Palestinian families have been fully or nearly wiped out. Over 950 civilians have been killed and more than 2,200 injured, while dozens remain trapped beneath rubble. Civil defense and rescue teams are unable to reach many of the affected areas due to destroyed infrastructure and the ongoing bombardment.
The situation in northern Gaza is described as “catastrophic.” All public hospitals are now out of service, either due to direct attacks or a lack of fuel and supplies. The wounded are being transported using makeshift carts, while surgical procedures are performed in classrooms and tents with almost no medical supplies or anesthetics.
Humanitarian Collapse
The humanitarian situation in Gaza is spiralling into total collapse. Medical professionals and aid workers are operating under extreme conditions, often risking their lives to offer even the most basic services. Mass graves are now common due to the overwhelming number of dead and the collapse of burial infrastructure.
Despite the immense suffering, local institutions continue to do their best to provide support — amid overwhelming silence and inaction from the international community.
Al-Thawabta concluded:
“What we are witnessing is not just a humanitarian catastrophe, but a historic crime that demands urgent international accountability and intervention.”
