Israeli occupation forces have killed approximately 1,000 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank since October 7, 2023, according to a new report released today by the Palestinian Information Centre.
The report details an alarming rise in Israeli military aggression across the West Bank over the past seven months, with 6,989 Palestinians injured in near-daily assaults and raids.
More than 17,779 people have been arrested during this period, while 85 individuals have been forcibly displaced from their homes in the West Bank and occupied East Jerusalem.
Military Raids
Israeli forces have carried out around 22,291 military incursions since October, often accompanied by the destruction of Palestinian property. The report estimates that approximately 4,926 Palestinian-owned structures have been demolished.
Military restrictions have also intensified. The Palestinian Information Centre recorded roughly 18,121 military checkpoints and roadblocks imposed during the period, along with 7,756 full or partial closures of Palestinian towns and cities.
In addition, 1,375 Palestinians were subjected to field interrogations and detentions by Israeli forces.
The report also documented 5,643 shooting incidents carried out by Israeli forces and the demolition of 1,156 homes.
Escalating Settler Violence
The report highlighted a surge in settler violence, with at least 410 settlement expansion projects initiated and 3,721 attacks by Israeli settlers recorded across the West Bank since October 2023.
These developments come amid a broader escalation of Israeli aggression in both the West Bank and Gaza, where the humanitarian situation continues to deteriorate under siege, bombardment, and displacement.
