Days Of Palestine – Bethlehem
On Saturday, the Israeli occupation forces forced a number of Palestinian citizens out of their farmlands in Kisan village, east of Bethlehem, and threatened to arrest them.
Deputy head of Kisan's village council Ahmad Ghazal said that the IOF stormed the village, prevented farmers from plowing their lands and forced them at gunpoint to leave.
Ghazal said that the Palestinian farmers were also ordered not to return until they obtain a permit from the Israel Intelligence Service at Gush Etzion. Otherwise they would face legal prosecution and arrest.
He noted that the Palestinian farmers of Kisan are regularly attacked by IOF soldiers and settlers.
