Days Of Palestine – Gaza
Hemaya Center for Human Rights (HCHR) has sent a substantive communication to Fatou Bensouda, chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), about Israeli crimes committed during the recent aggression against the Gaza Strip.
In the message, HCHR explained that high-level Israeli civilian and military leaders had committed war crimes against civilians in Gaza in the last military escalation.
HCHR accused the Israeli army of launching intentional attacks on civilian structures and areas in Gaza, with prior knowledge that such attacks would result in loss of human lives and cause extensive material damage.
Its message included a number of material facts that prove that Israeli forces committed multiple war crimes, stressing the need to investigate them pursuant to ICC’s Rome Statute.
