DayofPal- At least 1,000 Palestinians were killed in northern Gaza over the last three weeks as a result of the ongoing Israeli military assault, which has once again devastated the area.
On October 6, the military launched a large-scale air and ground assault on northern Gaza. Since then, it has tightened the siege, displacing hundreds of thousands.
Those who survived the airstrike attacks in northern Gaza endure unspeakable atrocities, including burns, illness, and insufficient medical attention, among other things. Without a safe place to go, they have frequently had to flee violence, and now they must face the fear of an uncertain future.
The situation grows increasingly dire in northern Gaza with the systematic targeting of hospitals and healthcare facilities by Israeli forces, further intensifying the suffering of the people.
The United Nations said it had been unable to reach all three hospitals in northern Gaza – Kamal Adwan, Indonesian and al-Awda Hospital-despite demanding access to allow aid in.
Health officials announced on Saturday that the occupation army had raided Kamal Adwan Hospital and taken all of the male medical staff along with several injured and ill patients.
Hisham Sakani, a spokesman for Kamal Adwan Hospital, stated that the most recent attack is the fourteenth time the hospital has been targeted by Israeli forces.
Since the start of the devastating war on October 7, 2023, Israel has attacked hospitals on numerous occasions. With much of Gaza in ruins, Israeli forces have killed over 42,000 Palestinians. Out of the 35 hospitals in the Strip, at least 17 are only partially operational.
