At least two Palestinians, including a child, were killed in an Israeli airstrike near the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, according to local health officials. The attack, which occurred late Monday evening, is part of an ongoing Israeli war on the region.
Witnesses reported that the airstrike targeted a residential area near the camp, causing significant damage to several homes. Medical teams quickly arrived on the scene, but they were only able to confirm the deaths of a man and a young child. Several others were injured and taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
In a separate incident, another Israeli raid struck near Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir el-Balah, also in central Gaza. The strike caused panic among the hospital staff and patients but did not result in any casualties, according to hospital sources. However, the surrounding area suffered substantial damage.
