A Palestinian man was injured early morning of Friday, September 29th, 2023, after being targeted by Israeli occupation forces’ live ammunition in the West Bank’s City of Al-Bireh, where another Palestinian was also arrested, according to media sources.
Local residents reported that Israeli occupation forces opened fire at a vehicle near the northern checkpoint of Al-Bireh, resulting in the injury of a Palestinian citizen whose identity has remained unidentified.
The man was immediately moved to Ramallah Hospital but his health condition is still unclear.
Shortly after, Palestinian resident Bahaa Husuna was detained after Israeli forces stormed his home in the Al-Balu neighbourhood of the city, prompting confrontations in the area.
In the town of Birzeit, north of Ramallah, a young man was shot in the head with Israeli rubber-coated metal bullets during clashes that erupted between Palestinians and Israeli occupation soldiers, as the latter stormed the town and launched wide-scale arresting and searching campaigns.
last night, violent confrontations also erupted between Palestinian stone-throwing youths and Israeli occupation forces following a military raid into the Qalandia refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem.
Palestinian youths in Qalqilya targeted an Israeli military tower with locally-made Molotov cocktails in response to Israeli soldiers’ ongoing attacks.
In Jenin, Israeli soldiers heavily fired tear gas canisters towards Palestinian residents and their homes in Jalboun and Fqqu’a towns.
Israeli troops also pushed reinforcement into Al-Auja town north of Jericho after a civilian car carrying Israeli soldiers infiltrated the camp, prompting clashes with Palestinian youths, who were targeted with live ammunition.
