The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Thursday removed a tent inhabited by a Palestinian family in Susya village in Masafer Yatta, south of al-Khalil, for the fifth time running in less than two months.
Local official Rateb al-Rajoub said that Israeli troops stormed Susya village and removed a residential tent belonging to Hussein al-Nawa’jeh.
Rajoub added that the IOF confiscated the tent and threatened to withdraw the work permits of Nawa’jeh and his children if he set up another tent.
The IOF systematically persecutes and harasses local residents in Masafer Yatta villages, prevents from living on their own land, digs wells, set up tents and graze their cattle in many areas at the pretext that the entire region is a military training zone.
