Five Palestinian citizens were injured during targeted attacks by Israeli settlers on various villages and towns in the West Bank on Thursday evening, July 13, 2023.
Simultaneously, settlers launched an assault on the town of Kubar in northern Ramallah, while another group of settlers invaded the eastern region of Qalqilya.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that four individuals injured during the settlers’ attacks were immediately transferred to the Qalqilya Governmental Hospital.
Among them, two are currently in critical condition, suffering from severe skull and facial fractures, underscoring the gravity of the situation.
Additionally, there were reports of attempts by settlers to impede the movement of Palestinian vehicles through the Sarra Junction, located west of Nablus.
Further incidents were witnessed in Kubar, where a young man sustained facial injuries while courageously standing up to the settlers and the Israeli occupation forces in a show of resistance.
These incidents have prompted widespread calls from the public to confront and counter the escalating invasions and assaults by settlers. Meanwhile, mosques in Kubar issued a call to the citizens, urging them to gather in the “Al-Batin” area as a united front against the ongoing settler invasions and assaults.
Responding to the aggression, the residents of Kubar organized “night disruption” activities to exert pressure on the occupation forces, compelling them to dismantle a settlement outpost located in close proximity to their town.
In a separate incident, Israeli occupation forces imposed road closures in several areas of the Jerusalemite town of Silwan, severely restricting the movement of its residents. These measures were enforced due to settlers’ celebratory events taking place in the Wadi Al-Rababa neighborhood.
The West Bank and Jerusalem continue to witness weekly anti-settlement activities, characterized by ongoing confrontations between Palestinian citizens and the occupation forces.
Despite facing live ammunition, rubber bullets, and toxic gas canisters, Palestinians remain steadfast in their resistance against settler encroachments and strive for justice and freedom.
