A video circulating on social media shows an Israeli soldier breaking the window of a Palestinian car in the West Bank, sparking outrage and condemnation.
The incident took place on Friday in the village of Qaryut, near the settlement of Eli, where tensions have been high following a deadly shooting attack last week.
The Israeli soldier, who was wearing a partial uniform, can be seen in the video smashing the glass with his rifle butt, while another soldier stands nearby.
The video comes amid a wave of settler violence against Palestinians in the West Bank.
Last week, Israeli settlers set fire to houses and cars in the town of Turmus Ayya, and tried to burn a school and mosques in the village of Urif.
Palestinians have accused the Israeli occupation forces of failing to protect them from the settler attacks.
