Israeli occupation forces and Israeli settlers wounded six Palestinians in the early hours of Wednesday, when they raided Joseph’s Tomb in the east of the Israeli-occupied West Bank city of Nablus.

Ahmad Jibril, the leader of the Palestinian Red Crescent Emergency and Ambulance Department in Nablus, reported that one Palestinian was shot with a live bullet in the back and had to be brought to the hospital, and five others were struck with rubber bullets and were handled on the spot.

He reported that a Palestinian man sustained an injury to his hand from a gas grenade and a woman was hit with a stun grenade. Both were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Jibril reported that 80 Palestinians had trouble breathing after being exposed to noxious fumes from Israeli gas grenades, additionally stating that homes were evacuated after the occupation forces threw grenades.

He stated further that Red Crescent personnel were also targeted with gas grenades.

He confirmed that seven Palestinians had sustained bruises from falling while being pursued by Israeli occupation forces, and were subsequently treated at the local hospital.

A large group of Israeli settlers, who were being guarded by Israeli forces, attacked Palestinians, leading to the closure of Amman Street, a major roadway in Nablus, with dirt.
