The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas condemned on Sunday, 26 March 2023 burning of a copy of the Holy Quran in Copenhagen, considering it a provocative move to the feelings of Muslims and a call for hatred.
“This is extremist behavior that spreads hatred and incites violence and creates a fertile environment for extremism.” the Movement said in a statement.
Hamas called on the Danish government to confront these extremist violations that contribute to intensifying “hate and conflict.”
It called on Denmark to apologize to Muslims for this crime.
