Israeli occupation forces opened fire and injured two Palestinian youths during a military raid in Balata refugee camp, east of occupied Nablus, on Wednesday, February 8, 2023.
In a brief statement, the Palestinian ministry of health announced that Israeli forces injured two Palestinians, including one in serious condition, during an assault in Nablus.
The statement pointed out that one of the youths sustained a serious injury from an Israeli bullet in the head. He is still fighting for his life in the intensive care unit.
The other sustained injuries from Israeli bullets in the right hand. He was reported stable, according to the MOH statement.
In the early hours of Wednesday, large numbers of Israeli occupation forces invaded the Balata refugee camp, east of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, which triggered confrontations.
In a related development, Israeli forces raided several Palestinian homes and wreaked havoc on them in the occupied West Bank cities of Ramallah and Jenin, according to local sources.
Israeli occupation forces carry out daily incursions into the Palestinians’ homes in the occupied West Bank. The Israeli raids aim at terrorizing, kidnapping or even killing Palestinians.
The Israeli forces have killed about 42 Palestinians, including 9 children, so far in 2023, according to data from the Palestinian ministry of health.
