Dozens of Palestinians were reported injured on Friday, January 6, as Israeli occupation forces (IOF) quelled several matches held in different parts of the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian ministry of health announced that a 15-year-old child was critically injured after he was shot in the head by Israeli gunfire in Aqabat Jaber Refugee Camp in occupied Jericho.
Confrontations broke out in Aqabat Jaber after Israeli occupation forces raided the camp and attacked Palestinian citizens.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Red Crescent reported that 10 Palestinians suffered tear gas inhalation and another was hit with a tear gas canister in his foot after Israeli occupation forces attacked the Beit Dajan march, east of occupied Nablus.
Palestinians in Beit Dajan took part following the Friday prayer to protest against the expansion of the Israeli settlements in the area. The march was met with violence and suppression.
In addition, the Israeli occupation forces attacked the weekly protest of Kafr Qaddoum, organized every Friday against the Israeli settlements, and injured two Palestinians with rubber-coated metal bullets.
10 others suffered tear gas inhalation as Israeli occupation forces intensively fired tear gas canisters at the Palestinian protesters.
On Fridays, Palestinians in several parts of the occupied West Bank join in anti-settlement marches to protest against the Israeli settlements’ expansion, which swallowed mass areas of their lands.
