Days of Palestine, Jerusalem -Israeli ministry of culture has chosen Israeli border police, who murdered Palestinian boy last October, critically wounded another.
Israeli media reported on Tuesday that Allison Bresson was chosen to light the torch of the Israeli ceremony of the 68th ‘independence’ anniversary.
Bresson is the female border police soldier, who murdered the Palestinian boy Qassim Sabaneh on October 30, 2015, at Za’tarah Checkpoint in West Bank city of Nablus.
The spokesman of the Israeli army said that Bresson opened fire at the two Palestinians, who were riding a motorcycle and were planning to stab an Israeli soldier.
Witnesses said then that the two Palestinians were planning to cross the military checkpoint like other people and there were no signs they planned to carry out any attack.
An eyewitness said that after the shooting, the Israeli border police planted two knives near the hands of both Palestinians. This has been a common act since the start of the current intifada –the Israeli occupation forces plant knives near Palestinians they murder to justify their aggression.
Bresson claimed that the two Palestinians approached a fellow border guard to stab him and he calmly acted and opened fire at them.
She was immediately praised for the murder and was described a “heroin” as she had prevented a “disaster” by shooting the two Palestinians.
“We are alert and trained precisely for these events,” said Bresson, recalling the incident. “The second I saw the two terrorists approaching the fighter, I realised that if I hesitated for a second, the fighter next to me would not be alive anymore. I have done my part.”
