Days after the Israeli Attack, Gaza is Back to Pre-war Normal Phase

After the end of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which lasted for three days and caused 49 Palestinian civilian martyrs, including 17 children, in addition to hundreds of injuries, the Gazans began to discover the destruction and bombing caused by the US-made Israeli warplanes.

The Israeli missiles were hitting the civilians without any mercy or warning, thus dispelling any dream for children in life like the rest of other children in the world to live in safety and peace. The Israeli persistence in killing the Palestinians would not have reached this extent without the international silence on Israel’s crimes and its protection in the corridors of the UN Security Council by the United States.

The principle of double standards has become the most prominent feature in the institutions of the international community when dealing with the Palestinian issue and the conflict with Israel. Despite that, the nature of the targets, the method of the attacks, and the victims in both the Palestinian and Ukrainian cases are the same.

The current round of escalation in the Gaza Strip ended with another Israeli victory. Every time Israel kills more and more children and women, it achieves a new victory over a people that has been under its siege for more than 16 years, during which the State of Israel imposes the toughest forms of deprivation, isolation, killing, slow death, and mass detention of more than 2 million civilians in an area not exceeding 360 km.

As slow as the clock has turned during the three days of the last Israeli aggression against the residents of the Gaza Strip, the besieged people’s return to life was as fast as the blink of an eye.

Immediately after the end of the aggression, people began to heal their wounds and comfort themselves in the killing and destruction that had befallen them.

It was not new for the residents of the Gaza Strip, who began to assess their ages by the number of times of aggression they withstood and survived.

We could say that this is the fifth aggression on the Gaza Strip in the last 12 years. After the end of the fifth round of Israeli aggression, the people of Gaza became more experienced and familiar with the affairs of war and peace, weapons, tactics, attacks, and methods of defense and attack that Israel and its army follow every time.

The time after the end of any Israeli round of escalation can be called the time before the next escalation. Once the Israeli aggression against the people of the Gaza Strip ends, Palestinians begin to rebuild their homes as a preparation for the next round.

The Gazans know that their souls and homes have no guarantee against the barbarism of the Israeli forces.

In the recent Israeli attacks on Gaza, Israel killed the dreams of the Palestinian girl Dunyana Al-Amour, who was in her last semester at the Faculty of Arts at Al-Aqsa University in Gaza.

Dunyana used to paint everything beautiful around her and was waiting for the day when she would draw her paintings all over the Palestinian territories, but Israel’s policy of killing everything Palestinians stopped Dunyana’s dream.

In light of the international silence on Israel’s crimes, Israel has continued its preferred policy of killing civilians and innocents anywhere on Palestinian lands.

Immediately after the end of its aggression on Gaza, the Israeli forces stormed the city of Nablus in the West Bank and assassinated, in cold blood, three young men and wounded dozens of others, in a move that indicates the existence of a political and sovereign decision by the Israeli government to kill more and more Palestinians in the whole Palestinian territories.

Israel and its extremist government will not cease to continue the policy of killing and destruction against innocent civilians. In addition, the continued imposition of a siege on more than 2 million civilians for more than 16 years, and the transformation of Palestinian cities and villages into small cantons separated by the longest apartheid wall in modern history, and prevented Muslims from performing prayers at Al-Aqsa mosque and confiscation of their freedom to perform prayers under false security pretexts.
