The Israeli occupation killed three young men and injured others on Tuesday morning during armed clashes that erupted after the Israeli occupation forces surrounded a building in the Old City of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank, while the occupation army said it assassinated the targeted, Ibrahim al-Nabulsi, today Tuesday August 9th.
The Ministry of Health, in a brief statement, said that “two young men were killed in spite of attempts to resuscitate them, in addition to 40 injuries, including 4 critical as a result of the Israeli aggression on the city of Nablus.”
Sources explained that a special Israeli force infiltrated the Habla neighborhood of the Old City and clashed with resistance fighters stationed inside a house.
Medical sources said that Nabulsi arrived at the hospital with critical injuries, and attempts failed to resuscitate him.
Large reinforcements from the Israeli occupation forces arrived and imposed a tight cordon on the Habla neighborhood, the al-Faqous neighborhood and Sheikh Muslim and closed all its entrances, as well as deployed forces on Faisal Street and Hittin Street, and assigned a number of sniper soldiers who climbed on a number of buildings.
The source stated, “I heard the sounds of heavy exchanges of fire between the resistance fighters and the occupying forces, who targeted a house with shells and rockets.”
There were several injuries among citizens inside and around the Old City, and the Red Crescent reported that the Israeli occupation is denying exit to an injured woman inside the Old City.
It added that Israeli forces directly targeted the ambulance, causing damage to its tires. Locals said that Israeli occupation forces stormed the city to detain Palestinians, but they killed them instead
