Israeli occupation forces On Sunday, August 7, certified out a massive arrest campaign in the West Bank cities and arrested no more than 21 Palestinians after raiding their homes.
Local sources reported that Israeli occupation forces detained five Palestinians after breaking into the Al-Khadr and Hanzharah areas in the occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem. Meanwhile, the Israeli forces kidnapped three more others while passing an Israeli military checkpoint in Beit Fujjar, Bethlehem.
In Tulkarm, the Israeli forces break into a number of Palestinian homes and detained three young men, including an ex-detainee, after searching and wreaking havoc on their homes. Locals reported that the Palestinian ex-detainee Zaid Al-Ashqar, 25, was detained by Israeli forces who broke into his house in Saida, Tulkarm.
Moreover, Israeli occupation forces raided the occupied West Bank cities of Jenin and Nablus, detaining a number of Islamic Jihad leaders. In addition, the Israeli forces detained a Palestinian university student and two ex-detainees in Kafr Raie in Jenin.
Four other Palestinians were also arrested after the Israeli occupation forces raided the Al-Fawwar Refugee camp in the occupied West Bank city of Hebron.
Israel has illegally occupied the West Bank in 1967. Since then, Israeli occupation forces have been carrying out near-daily raids in the West Bank, breaking into the civilian’s houses, wreaking havoc on them, and kidnapping dozens.
