Witnesses told Days of Palestine that Al-Ja’fari was hit with a live bullet in his right shoulder while he was watching the riots on top of his house.

Palestinian medical sources said that a live bullet had penetrated the upper part of Al-Ja’fari’s body, causing haemorrhage and he was killed just minutes after his was wounded.

A spokesman of the Israeli occupation forces claimed that Al-Ja’fari took part in the riots and he was shot dead while he was throwing stones. However, a big number of witnesses reported he was killed at home.

In the wake of Al-Ja’afri’s death, a large number of Palestinian refugees took part in a massive demonstration protesting against the Israeli storming their camp and attacking the refugees.

Freed prisoners rearrested

In Qalandia Refugee Camp, north of Jerusalem, the Israeli occupation raided several Palestinian houses and rearrested four Palestinians.

The Palestinians were identified Ahmed Zohair, Hamada abu-Shalbak, Mahmoud al-Zeer and Yazan al-Khatib.

During the arrest campaign, riots erupted and the Israeli forces fired live and rubber bullets as well as tear gas canisters.
