The Israeli occupation state continues its policy of stealing Palestinian lands and Judaizing Jerusalem, by opening the southern tunnel to connect the settlements in the southern West Bank with occupied Jerusalem, in addtion to the paln that aims to expand “Gush Etzion settlement” with 3,790 new settlement units.
The Israeli occupation government is systematically expanding settlements through its continuation of the annexation and expansion measures and the confiscation of more Palestinian lands occupied in 1967, in clear violation of international resolutions.
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates called on the international community to intensify its pressure on the Israeli government to force it to freeze all settlement activities and cancel it.
The ministry said in a statement, today, Sunday, that this demand comes in conjunction with the recent international positions that were able to postpone the construction of settlement units at Qalandia, and to disrupt the displacement, deportation and demolition of Khan al-Ahmar, and also to halt settlement construction in “E1” area.
She stressed that these positions are clear evidence that if there is an international efforts, it will be able to achieve acceptable results on the ground, in a manner that serves the peace process.
