780 Palestinian Administrative Detainees Suffering Inside Israeli Occupation Jails

N.S | DOP -

Palestinian local sources have said on Wednesday, October 4, 2022, that a further 780 Palestinian administrative detainees are suffering inside Israeli jails including 6 children and 2 women.

Administration detention is a policy adapted by Israeli Occupation Service (IOS) to capture Palestinians without any legitimate charges.

IOS puts Palestinian administrative detainees under total and deliberate negligence as some have incurable diseases such as cancer.

Meanwhile, 30 Palestinian administrative detainees are resuming their open-ended strike for the eleventh day in a row in protest against the illegitimate policy.

Several Palestinian officials call on international community to put pressure on Israeli occupation to put an end to such “reckless policy”.

Earlier today, Israeli occupation forces continued its devastating military incursions against Palestinian residents in the occupied West Bank, killing a young man and injured others. Another Palestinian man, Salman Omran, from Der Al-Hatab eastern occupied Nablus, was detained after a long manhunt by IOF.

Israeli settlers, backed by the occupation forces, have been attacking Al-Aqsa Mosque Compound as well over the last two weeks amid The so-called “Israeli holidays”.
