DayofPal—At least seven Palestinians were killed in Gaza as Israeli forces carried out new violations of the 57-day-old ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, including airstrikes, artillery fire, and the demolition of residential buildings.
According to local sources, an elderly woman, Rahma Yassin, and her son Saeed were shot dead by Israeli troops near the Al-Shawa station on Salah Al-Din Road in eastern Gaza City while they were heading to Al-Ahli Arab Hospital for medical treatment.
Earlier in the day, three Palestinians were killed when Israeli forces targeted a group of civilians in the Al-Atatra area of Beit Lahiya, in northern Gaza.
Medical teams at Al-Shifa Hospital identified two of the victims as Rafiq Mohammad Al-Attar and Ahmad Sabri Al-Attar, who were struck by fire from an Israeli quadcopter drone at the Al-Atatra roundabout. A third victim was later pronounced dead.
In a separate incident before dawn, Suhail Dahman, a member of Gaza’s Civil Defense, died from injuries sustained the previous day during Israeli attacks near Al-Ribat Mosque in Beit Lahiya.
Israeli forces also carried out multiple demolitions of residential buildings east of Gaza City’s Al-Tuffah neighborhood, as well as in Beit Lahiya and Al-Bureij refugee camp.
Palestinian sources reported large explosions across several areas as the Israeli army detonated structures located east of Gaza, beyond what is known as the “yellow line.”
Israeli military vehicles opened fire toward areas east of Al-Bureij in central Gaza, while Israeli aircraft launched several strikes across zones where troops are deployed in eastern Gaza City, Khan Younis, and Rafah.
Meanwhile, Gaza’s Al-Shifa Medical Complex warned of a critical shortage of surgical capacity, stating that 42,000 out of 170,000 wounded people require urgent operations.
Hospital officials appealed for immediate support, including additional operating rooms, intensive care units, and essential medical supplies and equipment.
