Israeli occupation police handed Monday expulsion orders to six Jerusalemites ahead of the Jewish holidays which will take place in the Old City of Jerusalem in the upcoming days.
Four Palestinian students studying in Al-Aqsa schools were handed unjust expulsion orders from Al-Aqsa Mosque after long hours of brutal detention and a thorough investigation at Al-Gashla police centre, where they were told to stay away from Al-Aqsa for 10 days, according to the Wadi Halwa Information Centre.
The students were Muath Taha, Karam Al-Razem, Zain Ghosha and Mohammed Kos.
Israeli occupation forces stopped the mentioned students at Jerusalem’s Hutta gate at a time students were enjoying school break, questioning them about some provocative issues.
As the students gave no specific answers, the forces pushed them harshly to the ground, assaulted them, and subsequently dragged them to the Al-Gashla investigative centre in the Old City of Jerusalem.
Other two Palestinians, Mohammad Zughier and Sabih Abu Sabih, were banished from Al-Aqsa and handed a one-week expulsion order with the possibility of being extended further.
Such expulsion orders are not new, especially at a time when Israeli settlement groups are calling for massive setters’ incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque. Many other Palestinian well-known activists such as Hanadi Halawani and Khadija Khweis were victims of Israel’s expulsion orders. Not only for days, the matter sometimes exceeds a year.
With the approaching of the Jewish holidays, which will start on September 16th and end on October 7th, Israeli authorities are gearing up to empty the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque from its people, paving the way for settlers to freely perform their rituals.
According to media sources, more than 3,892 colonial settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque in August 2023.
