As the Israeli war on Gaza enters its 177 day, the Ministry of Health in Gaza has updated the death toll from Israel’s offensive to 32,782, with 75,298 individuals injured since October 7. This includes 77 fatalities and 108 injuries reported in the last 24 hours.

Escalating Violence
- Gaza’s Government Media Office has accused Israel of committing a new massacre by targeting the tents of journalists and displaced individuals within Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir el-Balah, central Gaza.
- The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reports that 26 of its team members have been killed since the war began on October 7.
- In further tragic incidents, Israeli forces fired upon civilians awaiting humanitarian aid at the Kuwait Roundabout in central Gaza, resulting in at least 17 deaths and 30 injuries.
- Israeli airstrikes also struck a residential building in the Maghazi refugee camp, claiming the lives of at least three Palestinians and injuring several others.
- The Israeli occupation has confirmed targeting around 80 sites across Gaza, including various buildings and infrastructure, in the past 24 hours.
Diplomatic Efforts
- Foreign ministers from Egypt, France, and Jordan have convened in Cairo, jointly calling for an “immediate and permanent ceasefire” in Gaza and demanding the release of all captives held by Hamas.
- Egypt’s Al Qahera News channel indicates that ceasefire negotiations will resume in Cairo on Sunday.
- Additionally, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has strongly condemned a recent explosion in southern Lebanon that injured United Nations peacekeepers, labeling the ongoing hostilities in the area as “unacceptable” and emphasizing the urgent need for a peaceful resolution to the escalating tensions.
