Israeli occupation forces launched Thursday morning, December 22, 2022, a campaign of arrests against Palestinians in the town of Al-Tur, occupied Jerusalem, while its attacks against the Palestinians in the West Bank continued.
The occupation forces detained a young Palestinian man from one of the exchange shops on Salah El-Din Street in occupied Jerusalem, closed the store and confiscated an amount of money.
The forces also detained a number of Palestinian youths in the town of Al-Tur, the Old City of occupied Jerusalem, as well as in Ramallah.
They set up a military roadblock at the Arraba roundabout, stopped passing Palestinian vehicles and checked citizens’ cards, which impeded their movements.
In a related context, Local Palestinian sources reported that the occupation forces killed Ahmed Atef Mustafa Daraghmeh, 23, and wounded five others, at dawn today, in Nablus.
In response, the Palestinian Factional Coordination Committee in Tubas city announced a comprehensive strike today, Thursday, to mourn the martyrdom of the young man, Ahmed Atef Daraghmeh.
