DaysofPal- The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) severely attacked and beat a Palestinian elderly man after violently breaking into his family house in Dura town, south of Hebron, early Monday.
Sheikh Ziyad Abu Halil was in his house when IOF troops savagely raided his house and brutally attacked him till he breathed his last.

Sheikh Abu Halil is a prominent tribal figure in Hebron and known for his anti-occupation.
He was immediately taken to the Dura Hospital, where he was pronounced dead of internal injuries.
His death as a result of the IOF assault has sparked anger among the Palestinians in the West Bank, especially those who know him.
This occurred in the midst of the Israeli army’s and settlers’ massive escalation in the West Bank, which coincided with the occupation army’s genocide in the Gaza Strip, which began on October 7, 2023.
723 Palestinians were killed, including 160 children, and more than 6,200 others were injured during the same reported period, while more than 11,000 Palestinians got arrested.
