DaysofPal — Israeli settlers intensified attacks on Palestinian residents and their property across several areas of the occupied West Bank on Thursday, according to local sources and rights groups.
In the northern West Bank, settlers assaulted a 61-year-old man, identified as Husni Fayez Samra, from the village of Yasid, north of Nablus.
The Al-Baidar human rights organization said the attack is part of a series of ongoing violations targeting Palestinian communities in the region.
In the southern West Bank, armed settlers reportedly stole 45 sheep from a Palestinian resident in the Masafer Yatta area, south of Hebron.
The owner, Ibrahim Abu Ali, said the group infiltrated his livestock pen near “Hirbet al-Nabi” and carried out the theft.
In a separate incident in the same area, settlers wearing clothing resembling Israeli forces’ uniforms detained a Palestinian man, identified as Mohammed al-Nawajaa, near Wadi al-Jahish.
He was reportedly beaten and abused before the attackers damaged his private vehicle.
Further north, in the Bethlehem area, settlers attacked a vehicle transporting school students from the village of al-Rashaida to their school in Kisan, east of Bethlehem.
Local sources said settlers blocked the main road connecting Kisan and al-Rashaida near the settlement of Ma’ale Amos and assaulted the vehicle, causing panic among the students.
Residents reported a growing pattern of settler attacks targeting schoolchildren in the Kisan and al-Rashaida areas, including attempts to run them over, chase them, and intimidate them.
The incidents reflect a broader escalation in settler violence across the West Bank, raising concerns among residents and rights organizations over the safety of civilians and the lack of accountability.
