Israeli occupation forces (IOF) blew up the house of the family of Palestinian detainee Islam Faroukh in the old city of occupied Ramallah at dawn today, Thursday, June 8, 2023.
Last night, Israeli troops reportedly stormed the old city and besieged the house, as a result of which confrontations broke out between Israeli forces and the Palestinian citizens.
During the confrontations, Israeli soldiers fired live bullets and toxic tear gas bombs at the citizens, wounding many of them, including two journalists.
Social media activists posted many videos showing the moment the house was bombed, amid Palestinian shouts rejecting the practices of the Israeli occupation.
The Palestinian Ministry of Detainees and Ex-Detainees condemned the Israeli attacks on Palestinian detainees and demolishing their houses, the last of which was today’s crime against Palestinian detainee Faroukh.
It called on the international community and human rights organizations to urgently act and stop Israeli crimes against them and apply international law and norms.
