A video published by Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, has shown the health condition of one of the Israeli occupation captive soldiers.

The media spokesman of Al-Qassam Brigades Abu Obieda announced Monday night 27 June 2022 that the health of one of the Israeli captive soldiers has deteriorated.

Al-Qassam Brigades hold 4 Israeli captives in the Gaza Strip, including two soldiers who were captured during the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip in 2014 namely Shaul Aaron and Hadar Goldin. As for the other two prisoners – Abraham Mengistu and Hisham al-Sayed, both of whom hold Israeli citizenships, Media reports claimed they entered Gaza under unclear circumstances.

The office of Israeli occupation Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said that Hamas holds responsibility for Israeli captives the movement has, noting that Israeli occupation will continue efforts to get them back with Egyptian mediation.

Israeli newspaper of Maariv said that Israeli activists called on the Israeli government to provide the families of the Israeli captives with reliable information about the condition of their sons Hamas has.

Observers noted that Hamas announcement came in a critical time for the Israeli governments and the Israeli official who are preparing for the coming Israeli election and formation of a new government as it imposes issue of a swap deal between Hamas and Israeli occupation on the agenda of the coming Israeli government.

Palestinian analysists added the announcement approves that the Israeli government is lying and misleading the Israeli people over the issue of the Israeli captive soldiers Hamas has as it keep saying they are dead and it will work to get them back.

Undirect negotiations have been announced between Hamas and Israeli occupation over exchanging prisoners’ in a swap deal like Shalit swap deal under Egyptian mediation but with no progress achieved.

In 2011, a prisoner exchange deal between the Hamas and Israeli occupation has taken place under Egyptian mediation where Hamas has freed 1027 Palestinian prisoners including women and children in exchange for the Israeli captive soldier Gilad Shalit.
