Such symbolic Solidarity moves by sports, art, and culture stars in European countries express the sincere sense and conscience of European societies in solidarity with the Palestinian people and denouncing the Palestinians in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
Circulating such steps among the rest of the European stars would increase the level of European solidarity with the Palestinians as these European stars have large popularity among European people, and they possess soft power that makes them highly influential which may leave effects beyond governments and political parties’ roles.
The Austrian wrestler Khaled Ott’s behavior is highly appreciated as he presented a model of the European athlete who possesses sincere human feelings towards the Palestinian people.
