Irish Prime Minister Clare Daly has criticized on Saturday, October 8, 2022, the European resolutions by saying that she finds “ it laughable that those calling for arms to Ukraine, never call for arms for the people of Palestine.
She added that the European Union should be ashamed of the double standard policy when it comes to Palestine and Yemen.
Clare Daly is an Irish politician who has been a Member of the European Parliament from Ireland for the Dublin constituency since July 2019. She is a member of Independents 4 Change, part of The Left in the European Parliament.
She made her announcement amid undeniable violations by Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) against Palestinians in the West Bank over the last months.
IOF along with Israeli settlers have been carrying out a number of military incursions in different regions of the occupied Jenin refugee camp in the West Bank.
Earlier today, Israeli Occupation Forces have undertaken a military raid as dozens of Israeli military vehicles invaded Jenin refugee camp killing two Palestinian teenagers and injured 11.
In the meantime, four Israeli flying helicopters were hovering over the refugee camp to detain a former Palestinian detainee. Mohammed zaina, Palestinian media has reported.
Palestinian media also confirmed that IOF has failed to detain the former detainee Mohammed and kidnapped his brother Saleh instead.
