The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned the Israeli occupation incursion into the sacred Al-Aqsa mosque and considered this dangerous escalation an affront to the feelings of all Muslims and a blatant violation of international resolutions and instruments.
In a statement, the OIC condemned the blocking of Al-Aqsa compound gates, and assault on worshippers inside al-Qibli mosque and in the al-Aqsa plaza, injuring as many as 152 worshippers and arresting hundreds of others.
The OIC held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for the fallout of such daily crimes and offenses against the Palestinian people, their territories, and sanctuaries, calling on the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to end these constant violations, and prevent the repetition of the Israeli attacks fueling instability in the region.
