The Israeli Knesset has been rocked by a controversy on Sunday due to a statement made by the spokesperson of Member Limor Son HarMelech, Elisha Yared. In a shocking call to action, Elisha Yared called on Israeli settlers to ‘erase Huwara now.” Huwara is a Palestinian village located near the city of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.

The statement comes after an unknown gunman fired shots at a car driven by Israeli settlers in Huwara.

The shooter is believed to have been targeting the Israeli settlers in an attempt to retaliate against the Israeli occupation of the West Bank.

Dozens of Israeli settlers have gathered at Salman AlFarisi roundabout on Sunday evening, located near the town of Huwara in the south of Nablus.

According to local sources, this group of Israeli settlers is expected to carry out a similar terror attack on Huwara that took place last month.

Huwara has become a focal point for recent outbreaks of violence by Israeli settlers.

It is estimated that around 400 Israeli settlers were involved in the terror events in Huwara last month, resulting in dozens of Palestinian houses being set alight, tens of cars destroyed, and many Palestinian families being forced to evacuate.
